Mission/ Core purpose of the Job:
The Projects Manager will be expected to provide essential support in the ensuring realization of the Centenary Foundation Strategy and the subsequent execution and management of strategic projects and initiatives.
The resource will play a crucial role in driving the organization's mission of Empowering communities to holistically address poverty and sustainably transform lives while while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and meeting the expectations of stakeholders.

Key Tasks:
- Project Planning and Management:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop project objectives, plans, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to established timelines and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, expectations, and concerns related to project initiatives.
- Maintain regular and effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing updates, addressing queries, and fostering positive relationships.
- Facilitate collaboration and coordination among project stakeholders, ensuring effective teamwork and information sharing.
- Project Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and project-related correspondence.
- Compile and analyze project data to prepare regular reports on project progress, outcomes, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on project activities to internal and external stakeholders, aligning with relevant reporting standards and requirements.
- Continuous Improvement and Lessons Learned:
- Continuously assess project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Capture and document lessons learned from project experiences to enhance future project planning and execution.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, tools, and processes to improve project management effectiveness and efficiency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal and subsidiary teams, such as sustainability, finance, communications, and program management & legal to align project objectives and ensure seamless integration of project initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing, teamwork, and cross-functional problem-solving.
- Resource Management:
- Support in resource mobilisation, allocation and management, ensuring optimal utilization of project resources, including budget, staff, and external consultants
- Monitor and report on resource utilization, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Key Experiences Sought: Candidate profile |
- Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in project management, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and coordination. Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices is highly desirable.
- Social impact: Understanding of environmental sustainability, gender mainstreaming, social impact, and governance principles, as well as familiarity with ESG frameworks and standards. Experience working within a socio-economic impact context, such as a sustainability-focused not-for-profit, corporate Foundation, or impact investment or micro-finance firm, is advantageous.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including Foundation partners, community organizations, government agencies, and internal teams. Experience in stakeholder management, building relationships, and fostering collaboration is important.
- Project Documentation and Reporting: Strong skills in project documentation, including creating project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. Experience in analyzing project data and preparing comprehensive reports to communicate project progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Analytical and Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify challenges, develop solutions, and make evidence-driven decisions. Experience in analyzing project data, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements is beneficial.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey project information, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders. Experience in preparing clear and concise reports, presentations, and documentation is important.
- Attention to Detail and Organization: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate project documentation, tracking, and reporting. Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively is valuable.

Minimum Requirements: |
Education:
- A relevant advanced degree, such as sustainability, social sector planning and management, business administration, public policy, or a related field, is preferred.
- Professional certifications or specialized training in program management, ESG, or sustainability-related fields are advantageous.

Experience:
- A minimum of 3 (two) years working experience in the sustainability and social development field, program management, gender or advocacy.
